Statewide Newsletter – May 2014

Dear Green Chamber Members and Friends,

This May we are excited to be hosting some wonderful events around the state. On May 7th, our Albuquerque Green Drinks will provide the public with the opportunity to hear from some of the PRC Candidates from districts 4 and 5. This event is in partnership with the NM Renewable Energy Industries Association (REIA) and we hope to have a lively discussion on topics of Renewable Energy, transportation, and other areas of interest to our members.

On Saturday, May 17th, our Santa Fe Chapter will be hosting the Santa Fe Green Festival. Come visit vendor booths and learn about all the ways you can “green” your home and business. Bring the family and stop by the “Bike and Brew” or the Santa Fe Farmers Market events, also taking place in the Railyard that day. You can also find out more about the benefits of New Mexico’s outdoor economy this summer by looking for the Partnership for Responsible Business table at the Green Festival! The Taos Green Chamber will be following the Green Festival with a Sustainable Tourism Conference at the Blackstone Ranch on May 19th with Guest Speaker Monique Jacobson, Cabinet Secretary, NM Tourism Department.
You should also save the date for EXHIB-IT!’s B2B Expo on June 12th at the Expo NM Fairgrounds. Find out about all of these events and how you can be involved by reading the chapter updates below.

We look forward to providing our members with more dynamic opportunities to network with other businesses and grow your customer base. Remember to ask Green Chamber businesses if they offer a member discount. We hope to share a catalogue of all member-to-member offers early this summer.

Kind Regards,

Robert White
President, NM Green Chamber of Commerce
